Victoria E. Klimczak, 64, Dies After Vehicle Strikes Disabled Farm Tractor Trailer in Alabama, New York
Victoria E. Klimczak, 64, of Batavia, died at the scene of a traffic collision in the town of Alabama, New York, on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., Klimczak drove a 2024 Chevrolet Trax east on Lewiston Road when the vehicle struck the rear of a dump trailer attached to a disabled farm tractor parked on the shoulder with its hazard lights operating.
Emergency crews responded quickly but could not save Klimczak.
The Genesee County coroner attended the scene and transferred Klimczak to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy will follow.
No other vehicles were involved, and state troopers continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
Klimczak’s sudden passing leaves family, friends, and the Batavia community mourning a life lost during an ordinary evening journey.
