Vernon Billiot, 42, Dies After Electric Bicycle Crash on U.S. Highway 90 in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana
Vernon Billiot, 42, of Patterson, Louisiana, died after a Ford truck towing a trailer struck their electric bicycle on U.S. Highway 90 in St. Mary Parish.
The collision occurred at approximately 1 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2026, according to Louisiana State Police.
Investigators reported that Billiot wore dark clothing and did not have a helmet at the time of the crash.
The St. Mary Parish Coroner confirmed Billiot’s death.
State police said they do not suspect the truck driver was impaired, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
