Jeanette Konstanzer, 54, Dies Following Lily Lake House Fire as Authorities Continue Investigation
Jeanette Konstanzer, 54, of unincorporated Kane County, Illinois, died following a house fire at a residence on Otter Lane in the Lily Lake area on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Emergency crews found Konstanzer in the home’s garage after responding to the fire.
The Kane County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on October 14 and sent toxicology samples to a national forensic laboratory for analysis.
As of October 16, 2026, the preliminary cause of death remained pending those results, and authorities had not announced a final determination.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office, Kane County Fire Investigation Task Force, Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office, and coroner’s office continue to investigate the circumstances and cause of Konstanzer’s death.
