Clay Michael Charlton, 25, of Liberal, Missouri, Remembered Ahead of October 20 Memorial Service
Clay Michael Charlton, born June 6, 2001, passed away on October 13, 2026, at age 25 in Liberal, Missouri.
Clay shared a meaningful life with family, friends, and a community now mourning their loss.
Clay was preceded in passing by an uncle, Phil Charlton; an aunt, Micah Pennington; and great-grandparents Archie and Blossom Charlton, Hollis and Dorothy Walker, Floyd and Isabell Ross, and Blanche Higgins.
Clay leaves behind parents Daniel Charlton and Magarah Charlton Ross; a son, Lane Charlton; Haley Thomas, the mother of Clay’s children; a brother, Colton Charlton and Annie Tarter; grandparents Gary and Kaye Charlton and Delma Ross; great-grandparent Bill Higgins; and uncles Gary Wayne Charlton and Gayla, Mike Charlton and Becky, Mitchell Ross and Amy, and Chris Pennington.
A memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Hannon Free Will Baptist Church, 1051 State Highway V, Liberal, Missouri 64762.
